What Do You Need To Clean The Sutra DBR Pro?

So what is required to clean your DBR Pro? Well in order to properly clean your device we recommend getting a couple of common supplies including isopropyl alcohol, q-tips / swabs, and paper towel to start.

These are the most basic items needed to properly clean your DBR Pro due to the extremely sticky nature of concentrates, which when built up over time can require quite a bit of elbow grease (and isopropyl alcohol) to work away at them.

How To Clean The Sutra Vape DBR Pro?

In order to properly clean your DBR Pro and ensure that your device isn’t damaged, we’ve broken down the process into the following steps below so you can easily follow along.

Always remember to take your time, as this will reduce your chance of making a mistake and ensure that the cleaning you are doing is effective. While cleaning can be annoying, this will pay off in the long run as you enjoy better dabs, clearer clouds, and more flavorful concentrates.

Power Off And Disassemble

Kicking things off, you’re going to want to power off your DBR Pro by pressing the power button 5x in a row, this will cause your device to vibrate and then turn off. You never want to clean your DBR Pro while it is still on, this can be dangerous and cause issues internally.

Once your device is off, you can proceed to remove the glass top, coil, and carb cap. Place these all on a soft surface like a towel or paper towel so they don’t accidentally fall off your table and get damaged or chipped.

Now that your device is prepped for cleaning, we can break down the individual components and get them all in tip top shape. As always, make sure to leave ample time for all parts to fully dry before you attempt to use your device again.

Cleaning Your DBR Pro Glass

When it comes to cleaning your DBR Pro Glass, we have two distinct parts: the larger bubbler piece and the smaller carp cap. For the carb cap you can simply wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol or scrub it with water, but when it comes to the bubbler  things get a lot more complicated.

Due to the winding air pathways and intricacies of the glass, you are going to have to take your tip with some q-tips / swabs in order to reach all the inner parts. The joints are going to require specific attention, as these hard corners are prone to experience concentrate build up.

Start off by cleaning the outside of your DBR Pro, paying specific attention to the mouthpiece due to all the traffic it receives. Simply wipe everything down and give it a pat down with some paper towel before moving onto the interior of the bubbler.

Next you can take your isopropyl alcohol and dampen one of your swabs, before using it scrub away at any build up you notice hanging around the joints and curves of your DBR Pro. Make sure to give it a couple passes, as it won’t always come off on the first.

Also, don’t beat yourself up if at first you seem to be making no progress. Concentrates can be quite difficult to scrub off, but if you put in enough time and effort you will notice yourself making progress, even if it's slow.

Should you require an even more thorough clean on your DBR Pro Bubbler, then we recommend soaking your entire glass piece in isopropyl alcohol. You can either use a large bowl or a plastic bag, fill it with the isopropyl alcohol, and then let your glass sit inside for several hours.

After some time, you can remove the Bubbler and go about spot cleaning it for any spots that remain. Thanks to the soak, you’ll also notice scrubbing left overs is much easier thanks to the isopropyl gradually breaking down the materials.

Once you’ve cleared everything off your glass, rinse it off with some water and then allow it to dry for several hours before commencing your sessions once more.

Cleaning Your DBR Pro Atomizer

Now take your DBR Pro Atomizer, no matter which one you're using, the cleaning process remains the same for all. Simply take your atomizer, prepare a swab with isopropyl alcohol, and then gently clean out the interior of your device and its connections.

Just like with the glass, this may take a couple of goes to accomplish, so don’t get discouraged if you have to use a couple of swabs. As the atomizer is actually heating your materials, there is going to be the largest amount of build up.

To make your life easier and get more out of your clouds, we recommend cleaning out its chamber after each and every dab, as this will prevent build up and make your job of maintenance far easier.

Once you’ve fully cleaned the atomizer, give it ample time to dry. Do not under any circumstances begin to use your atomizer if there is any moisture present, as this can lead to serious malfunctions with your DBR Pro.

Cleaning Your DBR Pro Coil Connection

Moving onto the actual battery / base of the DBR Pro, you should now take a look at the connection port where your atomizer connects. Sometimes, with larger globs materials can seep through and end up accumulating here.

Whenever you clean your device, always give the connection a look and if there is any build up, then you can utilize a swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol just like before to gently scrub away and remove the materials.

As with the atomizers, you always want to leave extra time for things to dry 100% as leftover moisture can mess up your battery and lead to more serious issues. Instead, try cleaning at night and then leaving it for the morning, that way it has more than enough time to dry.

Cleaning Your DBR Pro Exterior

Lastly, while everything is disassembled you can move onto the exterior of your DBR Pro by wiping it down with a cloth. With so many different hands on your device, it’s always good to just do a quick pass to remove any potential germs.

Wipe off any accumulated grime and help the natural colors of your DBR Pro (green, full color, or black) shine bright. If you do notice any spots stuck with concentrate, as always make use of a dampened swab to scrub off the offending materials and keep things going smoothly.
